History

The Trinity River Corridor has always represented the greatest challenge and greater opportunity to redefine the City of Dallas. For years, the Trinity River has been a barrier within our community, separating northern and southern Dallas. Utilizing an extensive public participation process, the Trinity River Corridor Citizens Committee fulfilled its charge from the Mayor and City Council to develop a vision of what the Corridor could become. That vision provided the parameters for the plan and work program that is presented here.
